DW-AX series pocket scales can measure up to 100 grams within a thin accuracy range of 0.01 gram. These scales can be used for weighing gold, silver, diamond and other precious stones. The measuring platter on the scales is made of a stainless steel platform of size 2.5” X 3”. The correctness of the measurements at full capacity is ensured by a weighing technology known as high quality strain gauge load cell system. The scale is lodged in a high density ABS plastic housing and a metal support framework t o gain more durability. These scales also have a transparent crystal clear cover, which is detachable and can also be used as a tray. The sleek design and the compactness of the scales makes them fit easily in a pair of jeans trousers’ pocket. To ensure flawless reading of the calibrations, a wide-screen LCD display is provided. The TARE function of the counting panel covers the full capacity range of the measuring unit. An attractive blue backlight makes the jewelries look more beautiful over the crystal clear tray. The scale measures in six modes, namely, gm, oz, ct, dwt, ozt and gn. The LCD size is 1.3” X 0.5”. The power supply from two AAA batteries is sufficient to have the LCD working. The DW-AX scales include a calibration weight.
